Bytes for All is a Pakistan-based human rights organization with a focus on information and communications technologies (ICTs). It encourages debate on the relevance of ICTs for sustainable development and strengthening human rights movements in the country and focuses on capacity building of human rights defenders. Bytes for All is working on on a series of projects focused on freedom of expression, Internet censorship and surveillance in Pakistan. The goal of this work is to better understand threats to freedom of expression and the level of surveillance in the country and its infringement upon citizens’ civil and political rights.
